Fuel Cells

Fuel cells can be big or small, and they can be used wherever electricity is needed, to power mobile phones, laptops, cars or houses. Their efficiency, cleanliness, quiet operation and abundant fuel supplies may promote fuel-cell use in the future, including use as power for personal transportation. Nevertheless, mainly cost, durability and infrastructure challenges must be overcome before fuel cells gain widespread public acceptance.
