Crank It Up
In this activity you will construct a model of a piston/crankshaft system, demonstrate each stroke of the Otto-cycle engine, demonstrate energy transfer from linear to rotary motion, and compare compression ratios for different fuels.

Acceleration
In this investigation you will use the motion of a toy car to demonstrate Newton's Second Law of Motion. Force will be held constant, mass will be varied, and you will measure acceleration.
