What do you think will happen if you increase the size of the box with the same number of molecules?

Click the "increase" button to make the box bigger. Then start the clock. Observe what happens to the number of collisions and the pressure inside the sealed box. Then press the right arrow to continue.

Molecules of a gas are in continuous chaotic motion. Therefore, some random collisions between molecules will occur in an enclosed space. In this model, such collisions do not affect pressure, which is created by gas molecules colliding with the walls of the container.
